History
Miller Mechanical Specialties, Inc. was founded by C.W. Miller in 1952 to
sell control valves, meters, instrumentation, control equipment and steam
specialties in Iowa and Nebraska. The company started with Masoneilan as their first principal and they still represent them.
The company operated as a sole proprietorship until Feb. 4, 1963 when it was
incorporated as Miller & Morse Co.; the company name was changed to Miller
Mechanical Specialties in 1973. In 1983 C.W. Miller sold the company to Owen
Miller, Craig Miller and Doug Miller (his sons) and retired.
Today
The company presently has 11 full time and 2 part time employees, with the main
office located in Des Moines, Ia. in a 15,000 sq. ft. facility. Branch
offices are located in Le Claire, Iowa and Omaha, Nebraska.
Miller Mechanical Specialties has a reputation for building long term
relationships with principals, customers and employees, and for selling only
the highest quality equipment available. We are known for providing quality
local technical support and service for the products we sell, and responding
quickly to customer requests.
Area covered includes the entire States of Iowa and Nebraska, and Western
Illinois.
Industries served include Chemical, Food, Pharmaceutical, Automotive, Water
and Waste Treatment, HVAC and Construction. Our customer base includes many
well known companies in the area.
